January 11, 2007 by Rachael Shores

Well, look at the time. It’s been forever since I posted any updates. I get a few people asking what is going and I do enjoy talking about myself so I might as well send out a “hullo” and update. Well, I just had a birthday this week. Very depressing but I am recovering. I am now living with my good friend Bethany, pictured here. This is from an earlier welcome home.

I have also included so of Dad’s project. The boat. Some interesting tid bit to look at. I keep saying,” My Dad is building a boat in his barn,” but people don’t really understand what sort of boat this really is until they see it. So there ya go.

As for home town news. I am heading out this very day to begin work on a mural. I have set aside the month of January for that. There is also an art show that I just realized is NEXT WEEK. I might not be able to get all my stuff in. We’ll see. I worked at Baker’s craft and Hobby for the month of December and through that I got a contact and got hired as an art teacher for homeschoolers. Can you imagine that??

I’m slowly getting into art. By the time I do I will be heading out East to visit friends and maybe finish hiking the Appalachian Trail. We’ll see. That’s about all the news. Talk to you later.

What a surprise to hear from you! When are you going to come out and see the project? I just learned how to reply to comments. I think I need to go back and write some replies.
